Locally anchored – globally connected.
This is Rotary.
Rotary brings together personalities from all continents, cultures and professions, offering service to the community in a global context and contributing to a better worldwide understanding overall.
In the Rotary Club Pulheim, 39 Rotarians support not-for-profit projects with a focus on youth, family and education.
The Rotary Club Pulheim was founded on May 2, 2006 and marked its charter celebration in the Brauweiler Abbey on June 25, 2006 where the District Governor presented the founding president with the charter document. The Rotary Club Pulheim belongs to an ever-increasing circle of mixed clubs where men and women from diverse professional backgrounds come together in friendship to help other people, urgently in need of assistance, in voluntary work under the motto “service above self”.
The Rotary Club Pulheim is part of the worldwide network of Rotary International whose goal is to show readiness to serve in daily life. Rotary tries to reach this goal in the following ways: by maintaining friendship, by observing high ethical standards in private and professional life, by supporting responsible-minded private, business and public activity of all Rotarians, by building good will for understanding and peace among peoples. All Rotarians try to follow these principles in all that they think, say and do based on the following Four-Way Test:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build good will and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
